Blade and Virtualization Data Center Environment
Fair Isaac operates under the premise that if data is used intelligently
it can improve  business
decisions. So, when they needed a partner to help design and manage
a new data center to employ the latest in technologies that maximize
space, Fair Isaac turned to N'compass. The success of this relationship
provided Fair Isaac with a new data center utilizing blade and virtualization
technologies that enable three-times more servers per square foot.
Working under an accelerated timeline, N'compass implemented network
consolidation and best practices in power and cooling and combined
that with an innovative design to maximize data center space. As a
result, Fair Isaac now utilizes a 3,000 square foot data center designed
for flexibility and future growth.
C.H. Robinson
IP Infrastructure & IP Video
C.H. Robinson provides third-party logistics to companies worldwide,
 and
when they broke ground to consolidate their corporate headquarters
in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, N'compass assisted with an evaluation
of their IP infrastructure. C.H. Robinson's main goal was to develop
a solution that was both economical and scalable in the short and
long term in order to support present and future applications. N'compass
performed an overall assessment of existing cable infrastructure needs,
budgeting for cable infrastructure (data and voice), detailed design,
bid documentation creation, and bid management.
Allianz Life
Data Center Strategic Planning and IP Infrastructure
Allianz Life is known for its innovation and accomplishments as a
leader in the North  American
life insurance industry. When they needed a group to help them asses
their data center and IP infrastructure, they hired N'compass to project
manage improvements and implement changes. Working with three corporate
campuses housing roughly 3,000 stations, 260 call center agents and
over 3,000 voice mail boxes, N'compass was tasked with a scope of
work that included assessment, design, acquisition management, vendor
recommendation and management, implementation management, final architecture
design, equipment staging, installation and testing, and training.
As a result of this partnership, N'compass was able to provide Allianz
Life with the expertise to project manage all stages of the process
using their proven process-based methodology.
